Renesons Energy Polillo, Inc. (REP) reached another milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Silo expansion project, held on July 15, 2025, at the Renesons Energy Plant Site in Polillo, Quezon. The project includes the construction of two additional fuel storage tanks, each with a 100,000 liter diesel capacity. Once completed, the facility will operate with a total of five storage tanks, increasing its fuel storage capacity by 200,000 liters on top of the existing 224,000 liters.
This expansion is a proactive infrastructure investment aimed at reinforcing the island’s energy supply system, in response to the increased electricity demand in Polillo. By increasing fuel storage capacity, REP is ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power plant operations, particularly during peak demand periods and in times of potential fuel delivery delays.
The ceremony was led by Engr. Jonnard Taran, Project Engineer of MASE Power Corp., and was attended by key representatives from both MASE Builders Inc. (MBI) and Renesons Energy Polillo (REP). The event featured brief welcoming remarks, ceremonial rites, and group photo sessions to highlight the collaborative effort between REP and MBI.
The Silo project reflects REP’s continued commitment to strengthening energy infrastructure in underserved regions, enabling long-term operational efficiency and sustainable growth across its subsidiaries
