Welder
Summary
A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques to fabricate, repair, or maintain structures and equipment. The ideal candidate should possess a TESDA NC II certification in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or other relevant welding certifications, demonstrate strong technical skills, and be willing to relocate as project needs arise.
Key Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks using techniques such as SMAW, MIG, TIG, or gas welding according to project specifications.

Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.

Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces before welding.

Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with safety standards.

Maintain and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding tools and equipment.

Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, to prevent accidents and injuries.

Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to complete welding projects on schedule.

Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Holder of TESDA NC II certification in Welding (SMAW or relevant welding process).

Minimum 1–3 years experience in welding fabrication, repair, or construction.

Strong knowledge of welding procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Physically fit and able to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.

Willing to relocate to different project locations or sites as needed.
