Warehouseman

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouseman to support daily warehouse operations, stock handling, inventory management, and store order fulfillment. The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of warehousing procedures, can multitask effectively, and is comfortable performing manual tasks to ensure efficient supply flow to our store.


Key Result Areas (KRA) & Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Inspection

  • Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantity, item name, and packaging against Purchase Orders (PR), Delivery Receipts, and Invoices.

  • Inspect goods for damages, discrepancies, expiry dates, or quality issues; report variances using an Incident Report Form (IR).

  • Tag and label all received items according to date.

  • Coordinate with Admin regarding any discrepancies found during receiving.

2. Store Orders & Dispatch

  • Timely preparation, receiving, and dispatching of stock orders to the store at NAIA Terminal 3.

  • Conduct Local Buy Outs (LBO) based on store requirements, ensuring correct quantity, quality, and expiration checks for food and non-food items.

  • Counter-check all delivered items against the Stock Transfer Receipt (STR).

  • Ensure STR is properly signed with name and date by the receiving party.

3. Storage & Inventory Management

  • Organize and store items following FIFO, FAFO, and FEFO guidelines.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts; assist in monthly or quarterly inventory audits.

  • Encode stock levels in the inventory system and ensure materials are complete and available.

  • Report stock levels, overstock, understock, and critical inventory to Office Admin.

4. Warehouse Management

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and pest-free warehouse environment.

  • Follow warehouse racking standards to ensure safe and optimized storage.

  • Ensure the warehouse is locked and accessible only to authorized personnel.

  • Turn off equipment, lights, and electrical appliances when not in use.

5. Other Functions

  • Willing to undergo cross-training in other café stations.

  • Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned.

  • Support business development and operational needs as directed by management.


Qualifications

  • Male, 23 years old and above

  • 1–2 years’ work experience in warehousing, retail, food service, commissary, manufacturing, or distribution is a plus

  • Preferably College Level

  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask

  • Basic knowledge of warehousing, inventory control, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO)

  • Familiarity with Inventory Management Systems or basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets)

  • Ability to understand POs, delivery receipts, and inventory logs

  • Physically fit; able to lift and carry items within company-defined limits

  • Comfortable standing, walking, and handling items for extended hours

  • Willing to go out for supply purchasing when needed

  • Good knowledge of basic routes for urgent procurement tasks

  • Strong attention to accuracy when buying items (correct item, quantity, and specifications)
