Vibro Roller Operator

Summary

A Vibro Roller Operator is responsible for operating vibro rollers to compact soil, asphalt, or other materials on construction and road projects. The operator ensures proper compaction to achieve stable, level surfaces that meet project specifications. The ideal candidate should hold a TESDA NC II certification in Heavy Equipment Operation and be willing to relocate to various project sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate vibro rollers safely and efficiently to compact soil, gravel, asphalt, or other materials.

  • Inspect the vibro roller before and after operation to ensure it is in good working condition.

  • Adjust the vibration frequency and roller speed based on material type and compaction requirements.

  • Follow compaction plans and instructions from supervisors or engineers.

  • Maintain communication with site personnel for coordination and safety.

  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.

  • Comply with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations.


Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Holder of TESDA NC II certification in Heavy Equipment Operation or equivalent.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating vibro rollers or similar compaction equipment.

  • Understanding of soil compaction principles and construction site safety.

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Willingness to relocate to different job sites as required.
