Transit Mixer Driver
Summary
A Transit Mixer Driver is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites. This role involves driving, operating the mixer, and ensuring the timely and quality delivery of concrete. Candidates must have a TESDA NC II certification, a valid professional driver’s license (usually Restriction Code 8), and be willing to relocate based on project assignments.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and drive the transit mixer truck to transport ready-mix concrete from batching plants to job sites.

Ensure proper mixing and slump of concrete during transit and prior to unloading.

Maneuver the mixer truck into position for unloading at the construction site, sometimes in challenging conditions.

Clean the mixer drum and exterior of the vehicle after each delivery to prevent buildup and maintain hygiene.

Monitor vehicle condition and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Assist with loading materials or batching when required by the plant or project.
Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

TESDA NC II in Driving (or Heavy Equipment Operation for Mixer).

Valid professional driver’s license (usually Restriction Code 8 or equivalent).

At least 1 year of experience operating a transit mixer or similar heavy vehicle.

Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, concrete handling, and delivery protocols.

Willing to relocate to different project or plant locations as needed.
