Plant Superintendent

Job Description
A Plant Superintendent is a responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet organizational goals
• Manage and supervise plant staff, including hiring , training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed
• Prepare & manage the plant’s budget and resource allocation
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the plant is running safely and efficiently
• Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure product standards
• Develops and maintain standard operating procedures and policies
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among plant staff and management
• Ensure the proper maintenance of plant equipment and facilities

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably an Industrial Engineering graduate
• At least 5 years of senior supervisory or managerial experience in food manufacturing set up
• Experience or knowledge in oil milling productions and other related coconut processing is an advantage
• Proven leadership and managerial skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements
• experience in budget management and financial planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• understanding of quality control procedures, safety standards and Food Safety System
• Ability to lead and manage team effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good physical condition and willingness to do field works
• Ability to analyze data and create report for senior management
