Marketing & Event Sales Jr. Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing & Event Sales Executive is responsible for leading the Community Hub’s marketing initiatives, brand development, strategic partnerships, and event promotion. The role supports business growth through market research, community engagement, program creation, and revenue-generating activities. The Marketing Executive also plays a vital role in business planning, hospitality development projects, and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development & Business Planning

● Participate in annual business planning and organizational development initiatives.

● Conduct market research and identify emerging opportunities.

● Recommend new products, services, experiences, and revenue streams.

● Support feasibility assessments for future expansion projects.

Marketing & Business Development

● Develop and execute annual marketing plans.

● Identify and pursue strategic partnerships.

● Develop relationships with schools, universities, businesses, NGOs, government agencies, and cultural organizations.

● Create collaboration opportunities.


Community Engagement & Program Development

● Develop programs that strengthen community participation.

● Promote workshops, exhibitions, networking events, and cultural activities.

● Position the Community Hub and Hospitality Development in the Island as a leading community destination.


Event Sales & Venue Promotion

● Drive event sales and venue utilization.

● Generate leads and secure corporate, educational, cultural, and community events.

● Conduct venue presentations and client meetings.

● Develop event packages and promotional programs.

● Monitor event sales performance and market demand.


Reporting & Analytics

● Analyze marketing performance and market trends

● Track event sales, lead generation, and campaign effectiveness.

● Prepare development and growth reports for management.


Qualifications
:

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Communications, Public Relations, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, sales & business development in the hospitality industry

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, Basic graphic design platforms (Canva, Adobe Express, or equivalent).

Website content management systems (CMS) is an advantage

SOFT SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

● Ability to travel locally for business development, networking, and partnership activities.

● Strong understanding of hospitality service standards and customer experience principles.

● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

● Experience working with diverse stakeholders including businesses, educational institutions, community organizations, government agencies, and cultural groups is highly desirable.
