Marketing Assistant
JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Assistant creates and updates promotional materials, supports in-house campaigns, manages social media, and coordinates with teams and partners to maintain effective displays and foster community ties. The role also handles guest communications, gathers feedback, and ensures all marketing aligns with brand standards to enhance guest experience. Ideal for a creative, detail-oriented team player in hospitality marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Marketing Material Design
- Create and update menus, flyers, posters, and table tents.
- Design digital content for social media and email campaigns.
- Ensure all visuals align with brand standards and target audience.
2. Promotion & Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and executing promotions and events.
- Coordinate promotional displays and signage on site.
- Contribute to product sourcing, concept development, costing, and pricing.
- Help update promotional listings on social media and other channels.
3. Guest Communication & Feedback
- Prepare guest emails, review requests, and event invites.
- Collect and summarize guest feedback from reviews and comment cards.
- Coordinate with photographers, printers, influencers, and marketing partners.
- Assist with local collaborations and partnerships.
4. Social Media & Online Presence
- Schedule and post content on Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business.
- Monitor engagement and respond to basic guest inquiries and comments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 0–2 years in marketing, ideally in hospitality, food & beverage, or retail.
- Internship or part-time experience in social media, content creation, or events is a plus.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Google Business).
- Understanding of branding and visual consistency.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with an understanding of guest experience.
