HR Specialist
Job Summary:
This is a technical position and its main role is to discharge day-to-today operational responsibilities in any of the main functions of the HR Department, as may be assigned by the Team Leader. Specifically, these functions are, but not limited to, Talent Acquisition, Performance Appraisal System Administration, and Employee Records Management.
The main accountabilities of the HR Specialist are, as follows:
A. Talent Acquisition
- Ensures the timely and accurate placement of employment advertisements, of approved Manpower Requsition Form, in approved media platforms, according to Plans and Budgets
- Conducts preliminary screening of all applicants according to the standard procedures and guidelines of the Company. These include pre-employment testing, verification of resume information through background check, initial confirmation of compliance with basic requirements, collection of requirements based on the standard recruitment checklist, etc.
- Prepares and submits written reports and recommendations to the Team Leader and HR Consultant on the results of the screening work accomplished
- Prepares and sends communications to applicants on the status of their application, with the appropriate discussion with and approval by the Team Leader
- Undertakes the final processing of applicants for final screening and hiring, based on the standard procedures, documentations, and approvals
B. Performance Appraisal Monitoring
- Ensures that the proper communications and required forms are disseminated to all concerned Raters for the timely implementation of the Performance Appraisal System corporate-wide
- Provides advice and service to raters for the timely submission of the performance of the properly accomplished rating forms
- Organization and consolidation of the submitted forms and the submission of the same to the Team Leader and, ultimately to Management. In addition to the forms, the HR Specialist should also submit a report of all concerns, issues, incidents, problems, difficulties related to the implementation of the Annual Performance Appraisal System.
C. Employee Records Management
- Ensures that the 201-File of all employees are efficiently and effectively organized and filed
- Provides Management, upon demand, with timely, accurate, and complete information regarding the personal file of any employee
- Ensures that all information contained in the 201 files of all personnel are confidential and can be accessed only upon approval by the Team Leader and/or Management
- Implements Company rules and guidelines on Data Privacy Law
D. Other Tasks
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Graduate of bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or any related course
- With at least 3 years in HR and/or have experience in various HR Functions
- Strong background in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and can work with high levels of accuracy & attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable, organized, and able to work to tight deadlines where required.
