Finance Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Finance & Investment Analyst / Associate to support the Finance & Development team across financial modeling, investor relations, fundraising, and strategic business development initiatives.
This is not a purely back-office role. The position requires strong financial analysis skills combined with the ability to support external-facing investor and partner engagements. The role enables parallel workstreams across project finance, HoldCo valuation, capital structuring, and strategic opportunities, including M&A.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & Analysis (Core Responsibility)
- Build and maintain project-level financial models (DCF, IRR, DSCR, sensitivity analysis)
- Support HoldCo-level valuation and capital structure models (SOTP, dilution, SAFE scenarios)
- Assist in modeling SAFEs, convertibles, project debt, RBF structures, and minority equity investments
- Stress-test assumptions and downside scenarios
- Update models as projects progress from development to bankable and financeable stages
Investor Relations & Fundraising Support
- Prepare and refine investor presentation materials
- Customize decks and financials for impact investors, family offices, and strategic partners
- Support investor meetings by preparing briefing notes, capturing meeting notes, and tracking follow-ups
- Maintain and monitor investor pipeline and tracking tools
Business Development & Strategic Support
- Support evaluation of new projects, partnerships, and M&A opportunities
- Assist with preliminary investment screening, commercial analysis, and high-level valuations
- Prepare internal memos and decision materials for management
- Coordinate internal data requests for diligence processes
Data Room & Documentation Management
- Build and maintain virtual data rooms
- Organize financial models, contracts, permits, and corporate documents
- Ensure materials are accurate, current, and investor-ready
Ad Hoc Strategic Projects
- Support capital strategy analysis, valuation sensitivity work, and portfolio tracking
- Assist in preparing materials for Board presentations, strategic reviews, and external advisors
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- CFA Level I or II is a plus (not required)
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure, corporate finance, project finance, or investor relations
- Experience in any one of the listed finance areas is sufficient for this role
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, or real assets is a strong plus
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to build models from scratch
- Strong PowerPoint skills with experience creating investor-grade materials
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise narratives
Soft Skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Comfortable supporting external-facing meetings and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of managing multiple workstreams in parallel
