Electrician

Summary

An Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and wiring in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate holds a TESDA NC II certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, possesses strong troubleshooting skills, and is willing to relocate to various project sites as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures according to local codes and safety standards.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.

  • Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs or replacements of faulty components.

  • Test electrical systems using specialized tools and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.

  • Follow safety protocols to prevent electrical hazards and accidents.

  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete electrical installations.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.

  • Adhere to company policies and comply with government regulations.


Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Holder of TESDA NC II certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in electrical installation and repair work.

  • Knowledgeable in electrical codes, safety procedures, and industry standards.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in challenging environments.

  • Physically fit and able to handle electrical tools and equipment safely.

  • Willing to relocate to various project sites, including remote or offshore locations.
