Business Development – Property Development
Job Summary:
The Business Development for Property Development is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities related to real estate and property development. This role involves market research, feasibility analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project initiation to support the company’s growth objectives in the property sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Opportunity Identification
- Research and analyze property development trends, market demands, and investment opportunities.
- Identify potential sites for property acquisition, redevelopment, or new construction.
- Maintain a database of potential properties, landowners, and industry partners.
2. Feasibility & Financial Analysis
- Conduct initial site assessments and coordinate with internal and external teams for due diligence.
- Collaborate with Finance and Project Development teams to prepare feasibility studies and ROI analyses.
- Prepare business proposals and investment briefs for management review.
3. Strategic Partnerships & Networking
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, government agencies, and potential investors.
- Represent the company in industry events, real estate forums, and local government meetings to explore collaboration opportunities.
4. Project Initiation & Coordination
- Work with Legal, Engineering, and Finance teams for property acquisition processes.
- Assist in securing permits, licenses, and compliance requirements for development projects.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants during the pre-development phase.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular reports on project pipelines, market updates, and potential risks.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide recommendations for strategic positioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in business development, property acquisition, or real estate project management.
- Strong understanding of real estate market trends, property laws, and development processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Office and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willing to travel for field works.
