Energy Portfolio
The initial portfolio of energy projects of MASE is aggregated in the province of Quezon comprising six (6) territories.
We harness energy from both conventional and renewable sources both in the off-grid and on-grid areas.
Diesel Power Plant
The 2.0MW Diesel Power Plant (DPP) is a pilot project of Renesons Energy Polillo, Inc. The power plant commercialized in May 25, 2019 and is now providing steady and reliable electricity to the island of Polillo, Quezon Province.
Solar-Diesel-Storage Power Plant
The Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded MASE Power the rights to develop power generation facilities in Patnanungan and Jomalig Islands. At present, MASE Power is in the process of designing the appropriate energy solutions that would best suit the conditions of the islands while mobilizing the licenses and permits for the project.
Biomass Power Plant
Renesons Energy Polillo will begin developing the second phase of the Polillo Agro-Industrial & Energy Park with the development of the 1.5MW Biomass Power Plant. The coconut biomass powerplant will make use of the coconut wastes from NYOGU modern oil mill as feedstock. It will also provide clean energy to the island.
Run-of-river Mini Hydro Power Plant
The Maapon project is a run-of-river mini hydroelectric power plant in Lucban, Quezon. The plant is proposed to have a rated capacity of 3.2 MW.
The project will help in augmenting the supply of electricity and in providing stable and balanced electric distribution to the Luzon grid.
