Project Coordinator / Sales Engineer

Description of Duties and Responsibilities :

As a Project Coordinator – Assisting the Project Manager/Leader in organizing on-going projects. The task involves:

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, service quality, ensuring targets on each are met,
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in project and stakeholder meetings,
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings,
  • Determining project changes, variations and/or revisions,
  • Providing administrative support as needed,
  • Undertaking project tasks as required, and
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

As a Sales Engineer – Deliver for the Company successful sales in terms of products and services by maintaining extensive knowledge of the Company’s products and services and relate these knowledge in a way that is understandable even to non-technical customers, closing sales deals, and leading project development activities. The task involves:

  • preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company’s products or services to customers,
  • discussing equipment needs and technology solutions with customers,
  • understand customer requirements, and provide appropriate solutions and support,
  • leading project and project teams that is designed to deliver products and services required by the customer,
  • generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries,
  • researching new technologies, developing and modifying products and services to meet customers’ requirements and needs,
  • soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers,
  • identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management, and
  • undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

List of Qualifications / Preferences :

  1. A Licensed Civil or Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial Engineering
  2. With two (2) years continuous experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of energy-consuming machines and equipment, experience in sales and the technology field,
  3. With knowledge of and functional understanding of energy management principles, is preferred,
  4. With proven good leadership and project management skills in energy efficiency projects,
  5. Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills,
  6. Ability to work on tight deadlines, beyond regular working hours, and exceptional problem solving skills,
  7. Willingness to travel and take on project assignments in various locations, and
  8. Well versed in using computers and computer applications for a variety of tasks.

Required License / Certification : 

  1. Licensed engineer or its equivalent
  2. Certified ECO, EM and EA, is highly preferred
  3. Training Certificates for Energy Management Systems and/or other QHSE Management Systems is a plus
  4. Training Certificates for Project Management is a plus
